Tribune stands 8 candidates for first ever local election

Tribune is to take part in our first ever local election in Great Yarmouth, putting forward 8 candidates.

In what will be a key test for the party, we will be fielding eight Borough Council candidates in the upcoming local election, with Cllr Adrian Myers defending his seat in Lothingland.

Tribune is a new political party for Great Yarmouth and we believe there is no room for national party politics at local level. For decades, control of our Borough Council has changed hands between big national parties but nothing ever changes.  It is the residents who are best placed to put our Borough first, not politicians who take instruction from a head office based hundreds of miles away.

We believe that every one of our candidates presented for this coming election are of high quality and would make exceptional representatives for the residents of our Borough should you lend them your vote on the 3rd of May.

You can read more about Tribune, our principles and aims on our About page.

The list of Tribune candidates is as follows:

Lynne Connell – Caister South

Paul Buttifant – Central and Northgate

Michael Monk – Claydon

Victoria McCarthy – Gorleston

Adrian Myers – Lothingland

Angela Buttifant – Magdalen

Matt Swann – Nelson

Hayden Turner – Southtown and Cobholm
